Who We Are
Allegro Ballet Academy- About Us- Faculty
Academy Directors- Miguel and Sarah Anaya
“We are overjoyed to be opening Allegro Ballet Academy where our love for dance education can be integrated into the community, and nurtured to our future students. We believe in offering the highest level of classical ballet while helping to shape the next generation of artists. We value a level of training that helps cultivate and give our students a well rounded foundation of dance training while establishing a love for ballet and the arts. We have been fortunate to receive exceptional classical ballet training rooted in the Vaganova method, a system renowned for its meticulous structure, emphasis on musicality, strength, épaulement, and the seamless integration of artistry with technical precision. This foundation has been further enriched by extensive exposure to Cuban classical training, celebrated for its powerful technique, athleticism, and expressive dynamism, as well as the Balanchine style, known for its speed, clarity, musical intelligence, and innovative approach to classical form. Together, we believe these methodologies have shaped a well-rounded, disciplined, and artistically versatile approach to ballet.
We have dedicated our lives to the pursuit of this art form, committing ourselves to rigorous training, continual growth, and excellence. Over the past decade, we have had the privilege of pursuing professional dance careers while also engaging in meaningful teaching opportunities, sharing our knowledge and passion with the next generation of dancers. Our experience both on stage and in the studio informs our approach to education, blending tradition, artistry, and technical integrity in every aspect of our work. We wish to inspire our students to reach and develop creativity, imagination, and artistic expression through ballet. We believe and are committed to developing Dancers confidence, technique, and overall performance abilities to achieve their goals. We aim to create an environment centered around both recreational and pre professional training where dancers can reach their fullest potential and dreams. Being a part of our program will enrich the livelihood of your dancers, and provide a quality dance education for both dancers on a recreational level and to those who wish to aspire and receive a high caliber of training. Allegro Ballet Academy offers the following genres/classes- ballet, pointe, conditioning, Contemporary/Lyrical, Jazz, Pre Ballet, and Pre level tap classes. Allegro Ballet academy is proud to offer programs where each dancer may find their placement and pursue their dance journey.”
