Allegro Ballet Academy Dress Code
Dress Code Guidelines
Students should arrive to class in proper dress code attire.
Hair must be neatly secured in a ballet bun for all ballet classes.
Shorts, pants, and warm-up attire may be worn during certain class offerings, such as jazz or lyrical/contemporary, upon teacher approval.
Proper dance attire should be understood and valued as it helps ABA faculty safely and effectively observe technique and alignment
Pointe Shoe Policy (if applicable)
Dancers on pointe may choose between traditional satin ribbons or elastic ribbons based on comfort and support.
Ribbons must be securely fastened to pointe shoes at all times for a polished, clean look and professional appearance.

Adult Ballet Division
(ages 18+)
Adult dancers are welcome to choose dance wear attire that offers both comfort and flexibility for movement. While traditional ballet attire is encouraged, fitted leggings or athletic wear are also appropriate for classes. Hair should be kept neatly out of the face, ideally in a bun, to maintain a clear line of sight for both safety and precision during class.
